Judicial sale of the community property of Nicholas Keller and the late Agnes Schexnayder took place 10-20-21/1804.
"Declaration of Nicholas Keller and is wife, Angelique Rodrigue. Nicholas Keller and his wife Angelique Rodrigue, resident of the Acadian Coast, declared in the presence of louis de Grandmont and Jacques Delagrouge, that they gave one another usufruct of the community property following the death of either one. The survivor was to enjoy the usufruct until deah. After the death of the survivor, a sum of 7000 was to be taken from the community and divided among the children of Nicholas Keller by his first wife. Similarly, a sum of $16,000 ws to be taken from the community to be divided among the children of Angelique Rodrigue and her first husband Jean-Louis Deslattre. Any amount above and beyond the stated amounts ws to be divided among the children of their marriage."
