Worked at the Supreme Sugar Factory, Supreme, Assumption Parish, Louisiana.
She spoke both French and English, and could write in English.

Lived most of her life on her family land in Upper Texas (Brulee Texas) -
also lived in New Orleans during WWII years. Moved briefly to California to be
near her daughter Ann Marie.

At the end of her life, she owned a small house on Hwy 308 in Labadieville,
almost directly across Bayou LaFourche from St. Philomena Catholic Church.

Loved flowers and gardening.

From all accounts, she was a strong willed woman, raising the children alone,
after she legally seperated from Hector on 15 Sep 1938. At the time of the seperation he gave up legal custody of the children and also sold his family land to his wife.
