• Notes, 1860. In 1860 Victor Savoy and his wife, Celestine Aucoin, owned four tracts of land in Brulee St. Vincent valued at $7.320. They also owned slaves :Hariam (or Aarin), a man about 24 years old; Justine, a woman about 24 years old, and her child Mary, about six years old. On the farm, they had three horses, six ploughs, four cows, five sheep, and many farming tools, valued at $486.75.
